Top 5 Film & Television Apps on iOS in Turkey Q3 2023

In Q3 2023, the top film and television apps on iOS in Turkey showed diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. According to data from Sensor Tower, here are the highlights for the top 5 apps in this category.

Netflix saw a slight decline in weekly active users, dropping from approximately 1.4M at the beginning to 1.2M by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating around $9K to $10K, peaking at $10.4K in the first week of September. Downloads showed a downward trend, decreasing from around 48K in late June to approximately 27K by the end of September.

Exxen experienced a significant spike in downloads, notably reaching 111K in mid-September. Weekly active users also saw an increase, peaking at nearly 330K in mid-September before slightly tapering off. However, there was no revenue reported for Exxen during this period.

BluTV had steady revenue, ranging between $4.4K and $5.6K throughout the quarter. Downloads showed a decreasing trend, dropping from around 17K at the start to about 12K by the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at approximately 94K in early August before stabilizing around 91K by the end of the quarter.

Disney+ exhibited a decline in weekly active users, from around 566K in late June to approximately 313K by the end of September. Revenue peaked at $58K in the second week of July and gradually decreased to around $33K by the end of the quarter. Downloads also declined, starting at about 27K and dropping to 8K by the end of September.

Finally, tabii had a steady but low performance in downloads, hovering around 7K to 25K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 138K and ending at approximately 107K.
